How to request complete deletion of your account and personal data

Sethian respects your right to privacy and control over your personal data, as provided by Brazil's LGPD (General Data Protection Law). You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
What will be deleted
- Your user account (email and password)
- All recorded financial transactions
- Registered bank accounts
- Credit cards and invoices
- Investments and portfolio history
- Budgets, goals, and debts
- Reminders and custom tags
- Custom categories
- All profile settings
How to request deletion
Option 1: Through the app
- 1 Open Financial Control
- 2 Go to 'More' menu > 'Export'
- 3 Before deleting, you can export your data as a backup
- 4 Contact us via the email below to request deletion
Option 2: By email
- 1 Send an email to contato@sethian.com.br
- 2 Use the subject: 'Account deletion request'
- 3 Include the email registered to your account
- 4 Your request will be processed within 15 business days
Deletion timeline
After confirming your request, all your data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 15 business days. This process is irreversible.
Data retention
After deletion, no personal data will be retained. Only anonymized and aggregated data (site usage statistics) may be kept, as permitted by LGPD.
